UNTITILED

She is the sunshine, I'm the sun. She is the thunder and I'm  the storm. She is the sea, I'm the shore, She is the poetry and I'm the metaphor. She is the king, I'm the throne, She is the muscles and I'm the bone. She is the shoe, I'm the laces, She is the deck and I'm the aces. She is the word, I'm the letter, She is the story and I'm the teller. She is the book, I'm the pages, She is the sentence and I'm the spaces.

The Memory

It was not about those silly fights, But about the conscious lies. It was not about the absence of love, But about the lack of trust. It was not about the mistakes you made, But about the promises you faked. It was not about the separation, But about the betrayal. Always and forever, You will be remembered, Not as a deceiver, But the one who taught me to survive.

THE INVINCIBLES

Like those high unmovable mountains, We stand still, In spite of all the rains and storms, We stand still. And you think, Those tiny bullets, those weak barricades, Would stop us. Don't mistake our silence for absence of violence, Our vengeance can burn you to ashes. We are the Gorkhas, Unstoppable and Invincibles.

THE SOLDIER

Little and innocent was I, leading my band of army guys. Towards a destined Battle. We drift forward. Little soldiers, Captains and Colonels Marching forward with plastic guns and ‘bullets’ With tiny fingers on the trigger, seeking the enemies in their hideouts., The conquest would end, when we had captured and taken all ‘prisoners’ out. Though I have come far, the desire still lives on; to become an invincible soldier, brave and strong. But now, I desire to become a ‘Soldier’ of a different kind, Not the ones with arms and arsenal. But, a soldier who fights for humanity, a soldier who respects woman, a soldier who uproots the evils of the society. An honest and selfless soldier a soldier to spread love not hate, Finally, A soldier who makes this world more beautiful and a better place to live in.

The Street of Happiness

wondering like a floater, here and there, searching for happiness, love and care. exhausted and distressed, I step forward. no sign of amity, except bloodshed and brutality. Racism and Casteism have become a norm, I have seen them, since I was born. destruction, discrimination, annihilation. hatred and enmity all around. in the streets, in the air, it is volatile and everywhere. I keep moving on, seeking with focus, trying to find, "humanity among the humans." drooping with drowsiness my vision blur, I hobble and wobble, but still limp forth. finally, I come across a street, angelic with essence of tranquility, with "showers of blessing" and angels welcoming, to "THE STREET OF HAPPINESS"
